Air Canada Wi-Fi cost: prices and plans (2026)

Short answer

Air Canada does not publish a rate card: it says prices vary by flight duration and are only shown once you are logged into the onboard portal. Free Wi-Fi covers Aeroplan members, United MileagePlus members and Business Class within North America and to Sun destinations.

We would rather say that than print a number we cannot stand behind.

Worth knowing before you pay

  • Free texting does not carry photos, videos, attachments, VoIP or SMS.
  • Voice service including VoIP is not supported at all.
  • Free Wi-Fi is a North America / Sun destinations benefit — it is not a whole-network guarantee.
  • Refunds are handled by the provider at gogoair.com, not by Air Canada.

How we know

Checked against Air Canada's own Wi-Fi page on 2026-08-02.

What we could not confirm:

  • Any actual cash price or points price for a Wi-Fi pass.
  • Whether long-haul international free Wi-Fi has actually gone live.

Airlines change these terms without notice. Treat this as a strong prior, not a guarantee.
