Emirates Wi-Fi login: how to connect on board

Short answer

Connect to the network OnAir, then wait for the sign-in page to open.

One thing must be done before you take off — see the steps below.

Step by step

  1. 01Before the flight, add your Emirates Skywards number to the booking via the Emirates App or Manage your booking — the free tiers will not work otherwise.
  2. 02After take-off, connect to the 'OnAir' Wi-Fi network.
  3. 03Log in if you are an Emirates Skywards member, using the date of birth on your Skywards profile and the seat number on your boarding pass.
  4. 04Choose a Wi-Fi plan and pay online if you are not entitled to a free tier.

Worth knowing before you pay

  • Emirates' own Wi-Fi page does NOT describe Wi-Fi as free for every passenger: free Starlink is limited to selected flights, and on the legacy system free access depends on Skywards tier and cabin. Treat any blanket "Emirates Wi-Fi is free for everyone" claim with caution.
  • Skywards Skysurfers are explicitly not eligible for free or paid Wi-Fi services.
  • Media streaming and some sync services are restricted on the legacy system because of bandwidth and satellite data cost.
  • Prices vary by route and Emirates reserves the right to change them.
  • Connectivity cannot be offered over every country because of regulations.

How we know

Checked against Emirates's own Wi-Fi page on 2026-08-02.

What we could not confirm:

  • The captive portal address.
  • Which routes carry the 'Easy connect' 30-minute product.
  • What proportion of flights are Starlink-equipped.

Airlines change these terms without notice. Treat this as a strong prior, not a guarantee.
