Two worlds. Starlink flights are genuinely free for everyone. On the rest of the fleet Emirates sells plans from USD 2.99 for chat to USD 19.99 for a full-flight connection, with free access tied to Skywards tier and cabin.

Worth knowing before you pay
- Emirates' own Wi-Fi page does NOT describe Wi-Fi as free for every passenger: free Starlink is limited to selected flights, and on the legacy system free access depends on Skywards tier and cabin. Treat any blanket "Emirates Wi-Fi is free for everyone" claim with caution.
- Skywards Skysurfers are explicitly not eligible for free or paid Wi-Fi services.
- Media streaming and some sync services are restricted on the legacy system because of bandwidth and satellite data cost.
- Prices vary by route and Emirates reserves the right to change them.
- Connectivity cannot be offered over every country because of regulations.
