Worth knowing before you pay

  • One device per session, and you cannot move the connection to another device once chosen.
  • Free Messaging is text only — no images or video — and works on a single device.
  • In First, BA suggests using the free Browse & stream package on your main device and the free Messaging pass on a second one.
  • If you forget your Club password you cannot reset it in the air without first buying a browse package.
  • Service switches off shortly before landing.

How we know

Checked against British Airways's own Wi-Fi page on 2026-08-02.

What we could not confirm:

  • What determines where you land inside each price band.
  • Whether Starlink aircraft still show paid packages in the portal.

Airlines change these terms without notice. Treat this as a strong prior, not a guarantee.
