Southwest Airlines Wi-Fi cost: prices and plans (2026)
Short answer
Southwest's Wi-Fi page publishes no price at all. It says only that Rapid Rewards members get free Wi-Fi courtesy of T-Mobile, where available.
We would rather say that than print a number we cannot stand behind.
Free for loyalty members
No public rate card. Southwest Airlines prices this on board.

Worth knowing before you pay
- Southwest reserves the right to block high-bandwidth applications, websites and video conferencing.
- Free movies, TV and live TV are not available on every Wi-Fi-enabled flight because of licensing.
- Wi-Fi is only on "designated" aircraft — not the whole fleet.
How we know
Checked against Southwest Airlines's own Wi-Fi page on 2026-08-02.
What we could not confirm:
- Any non-member price. Southwest has historically charged per device per day, but no figure appears on the current page, so none is recorded here.
- Which satellite provider serves a given aircraft — the page does not say.
- Whether a free messaging tier exists for non-members.
Airlines change these terms without notice. Treat this as a strong prior, not a guarantee.
