Worth knowing before you pay

  • Standard Wi-Fi is one device at a time.
  • Voice and video calls are not allowed on SAS aircraft at all — a deliberate cabin-atmosphere policy, not a technical limit.
  • VPNs are fine, but connect to the Wi-Fi first and turn the VPN on afterwards.
  • Expect brief interruptions over oceans, polar regions and satellite handovers, and no service in some countries' airspace.
  • Streaming is simply not available on the A330 and A350 legacy systems, at any price.

How we know

Checked against SAS Scandinavian Airlines's own Wi-Fi page on 2026-08-02.

What we could not confirm:

  • The Wi-Fi network name / SSID and portal address — SAS publishes neither.
  • Every paid price.
  • Whether Starlink aircraft allow more than one device.

Airlines change these terms without notice. Treat this as a strong prior, not a guarantee.
